Lidiya T. Deane is a Heels and Horsepower Concierge Member and a Director in the Valuation Advisory group at Staut, where she is also part of the firm’s Valuation Disputes and Family Law group. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation through the American Society of Appraisers and specializes in business valuation, litigation support, and transaction advisory services for privately held and publicly traded companies, high-net-worth individuals, law firms, fiduciaries, and private equity clients.

With extensive experience in complex financial matters, Lidiya has been retained as a business valuation expert in high-stakes marital dissolutions, shareholder disputes, and other litigation matters. She has prepared expert reports for mediation, arbitration, and trial, and assists clients through every phase of litigation, including pre-litigation planning, discovery, mediation, and trial proceedings. She has also served as a court-appointed and mutually agreed-upon financial expert in family law and shareholder dispute cases.
In addition to litigation advisory work, Lidiya provides transaction advisory services including fairness and solvency opinions, buy-sell transactions, corporate redemptions, and mergers and acquisitions advisory. She also advises clients on valuations for estate and gift planning, tax reporting, and financial reporting purposes. Over the course of her career, she has performed hundreds of business valuations across a wide range of industries.
Lidiya earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Banking from Sam Houston State University and her MBA in Financial Services Management from University of Houston.
She is actively involved in several professional and community organizations, including the National Family Law Trial Institute, where she serves as Program Co-Chair for the Advanced Business Valuation Program and as a faculty member for the Regular Business Valuation Program. She is also an Associate Member of the American Bar Association, Immediate Past President of the Women’s Energy Network Houston, Head of the Houston Chapter of Texas Wall Street Women, and an Advisory Board Member for the GHWCC SBA Women’s Business Center.
Lidiya has published articles, lectured, and led continuing education seminars on valuation and litigation advisory services. Her professional achievements have earned her recognition as a Houston Business Journal 40 Under 40 Class of 2025 honoree and one of Houston Women Magazine’s Top 50 Most Influential Women in Houston for 2023.
